Bill Spiers doesnt coach special teams

Mike Reed does, he’s the Special Teams Coordinator. Bill Spires’ job is a made up administrative role “Director of Special Teams” that doesn’t exist at any other major college football program. He’s not a coach or a coordinator on this staff, he just sits in his office.

For whatever his job is or isn’t, and there were several, would not be able to do that this week for some reason. I mean our punter was the MAN today!
