I would suggest parking at a MARTA station outside of the city and taking the train to the stadium. Indian Creek is the station I usually park at. Parking is free and the lot is at least as safe as the lots downtown. It's on the same line as the stadium station, so you won't have to change trains. GWCC/CNN Center station is the one you'll want to get off at. It's right next to the stadium.

You can also park at one of the Gold or Red Line stations, but you'll have to change trains downtown.

nightmare. I have always gotten on a train going the opposite direction of where I want to return to and disembarked at the next station. Then, I get on what hopefully is a mostly empty train going in the direction I embarked from. I now have a seat when the train stops to load the thousands of fans trying to get on at the station next to the venue.

You are correct, it is a mass of humanity after a game but with the game being at noon, maybe people will hang out downtown and catching a train later might not be so bad.

would be to park at either the Doraville or Chamblee MARTA stations and take the train to the stadium.

We always park at CNN lot and walk through their building and out the other side to the stadium.
