Terrible take. Paino has been a baller. Yes, he swings and misses a lot, but the power and glove he provides is worth it. We don't have anything close to replace him.

I don't get the sentiment, he's 5th on the team in average, 5th in slugging, 1st in RBI's, and 1st in total bases. Advanced stats show he ends up at about an average ACC hitter, with an amazing glove at third. I think you live with the strikeouts and understand the fact that when he does connect, he crushes the ball, especially as a 6/7 hole hitter.
