There is a wide range, what's your pick? and which scenario
12 - we lose out and decline a bowl berth or get into a brawl and self-impose a bowl ban.
13 - rest of the regular season and bowl game
14 - ACC championship game loss and bowl game / ACC championship game win and 1st round playoff exit / two rounds of playoffs without ACC championship game
15 - ACC championship game win and make semifinals / no ACC championship game, make semifinals of playoffs / ACC championship game loss and win one round of playoffs
16 - ACC championship game win and make national title game / no ACC championship game and make national title game
17 - ACC championship game loss and make national title game

As a FANatic, logic and rational thought are optional. 16 games to reach the final is the goal and within reach. Aim high.
As my Donor’s Pick Six results over the years have shown, I am right about half the time. 50% chance to make the final?
I will remove my orange-tinted glasses to go to sleep. They will always be close by.
EDIT: I failed to list the predicted scenario. In keeping with the optimistic forecast, Clemson wins the ACC and makes the CFP Final.
Admittedly long odds, but Vandy beat Alabama. Would you have bet on Vandy a couple of months ago?

My guess would be 14. I'm not convinced Clemson can beat an elite SEC/BIG10 team in the playoffs yet, but I'm reasonably confident they'll at least make the ACC championship game. I'm trying to temper my fan bias, but I have been quite encouraged by the offensive turnaround that has been evident from the App State game and since. I also think Clemson is helped by the lack of many other strong teams in the ACC. With that being said, the remainder of the conference schedule does concern me, as I think the next 3 teams the Tigers play could very well each be better than any of the teams they've played so far, minus Georgia. I think you could make a strong case that Louisville, Virginia Tech, and Pitt are the next 3 best teams in the conference after Clemson, Miami, and SMU, and they all have good quarterbacks.
Louisville has lost twice, but only to Miami and SMU, and they were both 1-score games. They haven't been elite, but they have looked good, and their offense looks legit with Shough at QB. Virginia Tech has taken some disappointing losses after all the hype they had entering the season, but they have shown they're still dangerous too. The only conference game they've lost was to Miami, and we all remember the dubious circumstances that ended that game. If that call had gone the other way, VT would've won. They also just crushed Boston College by 21 points, and BC should still at least a decent team with Castellanos at QB. So that one won't be easy, especially on the road.
Pitt hasn't played a difficult schedule, but they are undefeated. Their offense has been effective, and Eli Holstein has played well for them at quarterback. That one's also on the road, adding to the difficulty. So I am worried about that stretch, but I still think Clemson is better than any of those teams, so for that reason I do predict the Tigers will at least make it to the ACC championship game.

15. We win the ACC championship, win 2nd round of playoffs and lose in the semifinals. Just don't believe we are there on defense yet, but still have plenty of time to improve on that.
