I dont disagree. I have a question are you considering Pitt the one good one because beyond them I dont see anyone. I dont even think Pitt is good. We were very lucky to avoid losing there

I'm not saying we'll make the final cut but the POC looks at a team's w/l column with a lot of respect and also knows that the teams that lost early in the season aren't the teams they see today. Teams get better as the season goes and they are aware of it.
However, if anything eliminates Clemson with absoluteness it's the injured D-linemen. If our starters can't start then we're done. That's a factor of looking at a team today and not letting early losses influences them so greatly.
I won't be upset for I'm aware that ESPiN slammed the top ten full of SEC teams just for this reason. If you can't beat em', join em'.

Can we quit bringing this up? Look at the schedule we have played. We have beaten NOBODY worth a ####! The only two teams with a pulse (Louisville barely a pulse), we got smoked. This is not a good body of work. What’s wrong with some of you people??

0 should be an option. I will have no angst if we don't make the playoff in any scenario as we haven't shown we are capable of beating a team that is remotely good. Win the games you play and you would have nothing to worry about. When they beat a quality team, I might change my mind. Beating the coots by more than 20 would impress me.

Agree. 0. When this whole 12 team CFP thing started and Sanky started laying down the gauntlet and the other conferences folded like a cheap lawn chair, I knew the ACC and the PAC would be lucky to get one team in. Look at last year.

Nonexistent. We clearly aren't a top 12 team so why would I be mad about whoever else gets in ahead of us. We had our chance and laid an egg against Lville and now it's time to scope out the bowl lineup. Sucks but hard to blame the rankings or SEC for our situation when it's completely self inflicted.

That wasn't really your question. You asked about whether I'd would cause angst for us to get left out for a 3 loss team, not whether we think a 3 loss team should legitimately make the playoffs. Two different questions, IMO. I definitely don't think a three win non conference champion should make the playoffs but if one does this season, while I may think its wrong it doesn't also mean I think Clemson should be in instead. Far from it in fact. I'd say we are a borderline top 20 team so there are plenty of teams that if they got in ahead of us I'd have a hard time getting angsty about it, whether they were my pick or not.

Same for the Atlanta braves.
They won 54.9% of their 2024 Gabe's and made their playoffs.

If that's the scenario, I'd give it about a 1 out of 100 because i firmly believe teams shouldnt be penalized for making a conference title game and losing.
If it's like 9-3 A&M after they lose to Texas I'd put it quite a bit higher.

None at all. Losing to Louisville will have rightly kept us out of the ACC championship, and the ACC championship is pretty much the only way an ACC team gets in.
OTOH, it will be funny watching ESPN bend over backward to swallow their own junk to justify too many SEC teams matter how many losses they have--every SEC loss is a "good loss" and counts more than a win over any ACC team anyway.

Pretty low. About the only way a 3 loss SEC team gets in is if Texas beats A&M and then gives Bama a 3rd loss in the SEC Championship game. The big question in that case would be whether a 3 loss Bama would get in over a 2 loss Tennessee. I have no idea what the SEC tiebreakers are but there could be a 6 way tie for 1st so who knows what would happen then.
