I don't actually think we're all that short on players. It's development that we've seemed to be lacking in the last 4 or so years.
Experienced position coaches will help with that.

My opinion is that our defense continues to get worse with Goodwin as DC, but, I say keep him for more season and wait and see what type of season that BV has before hiring another DC bc one more bad season at Oklahoma and Dabo could bring BV back as the DC. BV stayed at Clemson for as long as he did was bc he really loved it at Clemson, and he and his family really loved living in Clemson. If he's let go at Oklahoma, it would be easy to get him back to Clemson, so I would hold off on showing Goodwin the door just yet...

Defensive players.
We lack depth to compete in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
In every natty run we were 2 deep at almost every position. In the games we lost we were only 1 deep and when a guy was out we paid the price (in the natty runs it was in the secondary).

99% of this thread is nonsense.
We need defensive ends and we need 3 of them.
TJ Parker is stud. But we need two good first string and two good second string defensive ends. We only have one. We need three more.
