What was with all the construction vests & helmets last night

at the basketball game? I assume they were handed out by Central Spirit or Home Depot or something? Supposed to represent something? Or just a lot of orange?

It was a unified effort from the students. Lots of orange and lots of energy and enthusiasm. Maybe we can establish some sort of identity for basketball fans. Pretty cool IMO.

I am not sure, but I took it to be tied to the BB theme of Grit, so thinking it represents blue collar hard working GRIT and determination.

When I was a student they passed the hard hats out after Littlejohn was renovated. Kinda reminded me of that, so I really didn’t mind it. It was cool to have some personally in the student section. Did we have anyone there last night on a visit for the Coots game?

I like the idea of it tied to Clemson Grit and the blue (orange?) collar work ethic. Kinda cool when you think of it that way.

My first thought was how College Gameday has the Home Depot zone or whatever where they give people the hardhats and such, so didn't know if that was some big Home Depot thing or what.
