What kind of kids eat Armour hot dogs?

Fat Kids, skinny kids, kids that play on rocks... Tough kids, sissy kids, even kids with chicken pox...
People would faint if this commercial came on today (LOL). Just another TV jingle from my youth that is permanently imprinted on my brain. I was 13 in 1970.

Have you seen the meat department at Wal-Mart lately? These days, kids eat whatever Mom finds at Wal-Mart or which is on sale at the grocery store.

Fat Kids, skinny kids, kids that play on rocks... Tough kids, sissy kids, even kids with chicken pox.. but not kids with overly dramatic soccer moms raising snowflake daughters and non gender sons

Reminds me of my dad grilling hotdogs on a charcoal grill and eating on the picnic tables under the big shade trees in our back yard. Later on we would have home made ice cream that was churned by the men who took turns turning it by hand.
The kids would climb trees, jump rope, play jacks, toss a football or baseball, or catch lightening bugs in mason jars with holes punched in the lid. I surely do miss those days!

Jack's have pointed edges, no Climbing a tree, you will fall.no Glass jar, what are you thinking? Football/baseball to violent, no Sitting on grass under a tree, will hurt the environment. The fluid for charcoal, can't even go there! Animal rights gonna be all over the capture of lighting bugs, just saying. You may get away with hand turning ice cream, if you find somebody not to lazy to do it......
Yes you are correct, I also miss those days. Riding back of a pick up, staying until the street lights came on.

I went down this rathole of commercials from the 60s & 70s

recently. I was just randomly singing "Ay, Yi Yi Yiiii" and my son asked - What the h#ll are you singing? So I pulled up the old Frito Bandito commercials on youtube. His reaction was: man, that's kinda racist. I was like, uh, really?... never thought of it that way, just thought it was funny.
I guess so. A Mexican bandit will steal your Fritos corn chips.
Anyway, you gotta admit those Mad Men (Madison Ave advertising execs) are very good at what they do. We all have a ton of their jingles stuck in our brains...

Now that’s hilarious & racist by far in today’s standards.....lol
We so sensitive now days..... we should sue these companies for making everyone from that era racist.
I never even thought it was anything but comedy, of course this commercial was before my time & memory.

It’s not completely inclusive…….they didn’t mention….Scared kids, lazy kids, kids that surf a box, soft kids, whiney kids, even kids that have a cough……which is fine, ya gotta have standards.
