Just saw this. The Dookies have had 7 Men's Basketball players hit the portal since the end of the season.

Dook always has a top class. They win a lot of games but how many championships has all that talent brought them? Dook always does less with more.

This is different supposedly. That's what the experts are saying. Calling it an historic class. They are saying this one is different. We have heard that before though. I always hope Duke sucks. This class is supposed to be outrageous. All long skilled and can pass and shoot. Not raw. On the other hand, they will be freshman. It will be like the Fab 5 possibly I guess at best. Although they have 6 coming in. I am sure they will all be gone in 2 years. Maybe all after 1. I hope Hall and Hunter return for us. We might take advantage of that young Duke team.

Remember Zions class at dook? That was a “historic class”. Every class they bring in is a historic class. Those guys are really good but freshmen do not win championships. I literally tell my dook friends that every year and they honestly are starting to see it. Now the thing that could be a problem is dook has had 7 transfer out. If dook reloads with good transfer older players dook is going to be a real problem next year. You mentioned Hunter and Hall. I would take those 2 veterans over any of the dook freshmen. Now when those freshmen are 22 years old probably not.

How many since they sold out to one and done? How many ACC regular season titles? How many early flame outs in the ncaa?

Calipari and Coach K repeatedly found out they couldn’t win a championship with primarily freshmen, no matter how highly touted they were. I doubt Scheyer is going to somehow crack the code now.

True. It's tough. Look at UConn? They were old generally. Their leading two scorers were grad students.
