What does ranking do

on Tigernet? I’m assuming that the words under my name is a ranking. It says I’m varsity right now. I’m just wondering if the ranking is just an aesthetic or if you get special rewards for being a higher ranking.

I think everyone handles ranking a little differently……I use the money I get from my ranking to pay my mortgage.

I takes much longer to get the jacket now because of tariffs……. The ranking doesn’t do anything, it’s based on the number of posts and TUs you get i beleive

Thanks for a serious answer. I’m 95 percent sure that the other 3 comments are jokes but the other 5% is wondering if you actually get a jacket and if there is an annual bankquet or something. Prob not but you never know. Anyway thanks.

Well unfortunately TNet just changed their criteria and you have to be 'National Champion' level to get your jacket now. That Pulse is approaching double your current pulse.
On a more hilarious note, I had no idea that was your next level. I just made it up and it worked out perfect timing. Now keep working on your posts, maybe you can meet the next goal before Tnet moves it again.

I really appreciated that last Tigernet outing in Nepal that Crump funded. It's worth getting the ranking up there. The perks are amazing. Hopefully I make the cut for Spain this Fall.

Paying for an upgraded membership can get you a few things…….the most important being, you can block a poster that you find annoying.

If you get the circle R thingy all your links automatically show in your posts and you get bonuses for each new ranking after that which help you move up faster.
