What changes are you making first?

First… Dabo isn’t leaving. Or at least he isn’t going to quit or resign. we have two fairly new coordinators. This is just my take. But I think you give Tom Allen the ability to bring in assistants of his choosing. Give him a couple years to maybe get it going. For Riley on the other hand, I would give him one more season, and give him the same choosing of assistants. But for Riley, I would say this is a one year or your out type deal. There has been zero growth with the offense for Cade the last 3 seasons. And as far as the portal. You’ve got to get in it. It’s just not a recruiting and development game anymore. You have to find guys who are ready to go. I’m keeping Dabo, and the coordinators at least one more season. But the family fun house needs to be thrown out. We need real assistants who know the schemes. Not just people who played at Clemson

RB coach, WR coach, Safety coach, Run game coordinator and all of the swinney boys/ friends need to be gone. Also Dabo needs to give full control of offense over.

I would try to grab the Florida and LSU coaches before they are grabbed. Need to look hard at SEC type coaches to make us physical and coach up our guys

Grabbing coaches from losing cultures isn't a winning strategy

What you said Mfloyd plus Micky Conn, Lorenzo Ward, and mike Reed. All need to go. Next year, if improvements aren't made, Tom Allen, Tyler Grisham, and Richardson are all gone.

… first thing CBS should do is seek wise counsel with someone like Saban or. Cignetti. Two guys that aren’t really in direct competition with him (Saban retired and Cig… from the Saban tree who doesn’t really cross paths on the trail.) Both are older and could give him good advice on what has gone wrong and what he needs to do to fix it.
He used to go visit other staffs when he was a much younger coach… He needs to go seek wise counsel from older successful coaches. Hard to do, particularly if pride is involved.

Didn’t he say in 2023 he didn’t need to consult anyone because he knew what the problems were and would get them fixed?

SLW I vaguely recall something I think just don’t remember
It would really do him some good to go seek wise counsel. He needs to be honest with himself if he truly wants to implement the changes that are needed. He’s been in an echo chamber and that is not healthy.
By the way, hope you are doing OK since your momma went to Heaven! Continual prayers sent
