ALL of the home teams won and none of the games were even remotely close. Is the home field advantage too much to overcome? If the CFP truly wants competitive games should the teams play on at least a neutral site? Nah, not gonna happen!

I agree....the home field advantage was too much to overcome! CFP should be at a neutral site, or at least make tickets available for visiting team! The college Football Playoff committee has some tweaking to do on this 12 team playoff, such as strength of schedule and number of wins rather than just wins(ex:Indiana)

I like the electricity of the home field advantage and it's good for the towns that get them.

Sorry, but I don't buy that home field led to a 32 point loss for Tennessee, a 4 touchdown loss for SMU, and a 14 point loss for Clemson.
