I think this also speaks volumes about who Jordan Travis is as a person. I always liked him but if Dabo cares enough to pick up the phone and call you that means he respects you as a player number 1 but most importantly, he respects Jordan Travis the man.

Well please allow me to remind you that as a FB coach, Dabo has led his Clemson teams to 4 NC games and won 2 of them, so how could you question his ability to coach?

What is being questioned is his ability to make us an elite program in this era is college football. And our results from 2021-2025 is the evidence being used.
I hope he proves people wrong, starting this Saturday.

Anyone that doesn't think Dabo is a great coach doesn't understand reality!
Go back to 2019 out in Santa Clara against Alabama.
We whooped Alabama bad, as bad as I can recall anyone beating a Nick Saban Alabama team.
I think Saban is a great coach, one of the all time best, if not the best, but he had plenty of down seasons over his career.
Back to 2019, everybody on that team was recruited by Dabo and his hand-picked assistants. Dabo hired 100% of those coaches. That was the pinnacle of Clemson football, and Dabo put it all together. Then he lost coaches, and players graduated and he had to reload. Other schools had big money when NIL started, and slowly Clemson is catching up with the money. We added a few portal guys this year, but they did not 'turn the team around' while they fit in well.
He will do the best with what he has each year, and I expect us to win other championships, but not every year! There is not another coach that could lead Clemson to the success we have had over the last 15 years. NAME ONE!
I know it hurts Dabo more than it hurts our fans when the Tigers lose, and nobody has a bigger stake in winning!

One may hear a lot of things said about Dabo, but you'll never hear anyone say he's a fake. He's as real as it gets. He'll get this football thing worked out.

I hear a lot of opposing fans from other teams and "media" members like the guys at Barstool that say he's a fake and a phony. But nobody who has ever actually met him. I actually don't know anyone who has been around Dabo that had much bad to say.

No one questions that Dabo is a great guy, great ambassador for Clemson, and a very accomplished head coach. But a lot of great coaches lose their edge sometimes. Maybe Dabo has lost his edge to excel in this new era of CFB? This was supposed to be the year to prove the critics wrong on this. Long way to go but early results are not good.

I would point out that Dabo made no mention of this. There are so many reasons why Dabo is my favorite coach of all time and that I feel Clemson would be stupendously stupid to get of him, but this is one. He is a genuinely compassionate man.
