They all have quads, beyond that, who knows?

Maryland hasn't really caused a stir since they left the ACC.
I still remember Lefty Drizzle throwing the chair across the floor years ago. I never liked him, but geehaw, wish WE had a coach with that kind of fire inside.

They have been in the round of 32 three of the last five tournaments.

They should be solid next year too.

This doesn’t feel like an OOC SOS enhancer for the Tigers unless they are guaranteed to get a matchup with the NET beloved Big10 squad.

Would be better opportunity if it was round robin

Davidson, based on this year's results, wouldn't really be a needle-mover win.
Maryland (NCAA qualifier) & UAB (NIT finalist) would be solid opportunities IF they resemble more of last year & don't experience some kind of implosion.
We found out w/ last year's Nov tourney that 1 errant result can give you the wrong match-up that does nothing for the resume

You act is IF we have a coach who can win games. Brad. Stinks. Period. Of his tournament appearances, most were with inherited players. I watched and watched to see what the issues are. He doesn’t understand how to break momentum using a to. He doesn’t field the hot hand consistently. Let someone get hot, he’ll roll out a bricklayer. His scheme at end of game is as lack luster as I have ever seen. Anyone who follows, supports, or believes in this team is fulfilling Einstein’s definition of insanity. I am considering pausing all contributions to IPTAY until Brownell is fired. I will only donate the minimum to keep my status active and privileges intact. I refuse to buy any sporting event tickets until Brownell is fired. Period.

True, but let’s be real for a minute about CBB.
He’s a mediocre coach who consistently runs a mediocre program. A flash here and there isn’t going to win an argument for anything more than that overall.
He’s had plenty of time to prove that he can take us to another level. He has not.
We were once at a similar crossroad with CTB and the football program. Plenty of people argued to keep CTB because our team would flash greatness here and there amongst an overall work of mediocrity.
It really comes down to either accepting mediocrity or not. We chose not to for the football program. Are we going to accept it for basketball?
Arguing that a flash here and there is enough in a body of work this long? I think it’s time to move on and try something different. I hope our AD sees the big picture.

Asheville has a very good coach. IF the Tigers ever look for one, he may get a look!

- We're not footing the bill for flights to Maui or Puerto Rico. Charter a bus and we'll be there in three hours tops. Budget wise, it's a win.
- We won't be embarrassed on our home floor by a NIT team.
