Other coaches have no problem having relationships with other team’s players.

I think Dabo will find a GA spot for DJ5. I mean seriously, he mentored Cade. DJ5 is a good dude. I really wished he'd stuck here and move to tightend and workout with Bakich. Hindsight is 20/20 and you respect anyone chasing their dream. But obviously baseball was his future.

If Dabo let's DJ anywhere near our program

Then he has completely lost his sense of judgment.
DJ is a complete and total program killer in terms of lack of energy, passion, etc.
Nothing personal against him. I'm not even sure he enjoys the sport of football. Seems like one of those kids that just wants to appease his father. And certainly the $ doesn't hurt.

Would you consider coach Riley high energy or low energy…. I would say low and he has been pretty good coach. So you never know DJ might make a great coach.. Lord knows he has seen his share of different coaching styles.

I've lived on this earth long enough to have seen, and worked for, many different people. In my experience, just because you are good at a job (position), doesn't mean you can manage (coach). I have also seen people who weren't the best, but dedicated, who have made good managers, because they understand the position. E.g Coach Swinney wouldn't have been considered the best wr, but I believe we can all say he's a fantastic coach. That said, I'm not advocating for DJU. If Coach Swinney wants him, well, I hope he's learned his lesson when it comes to hiring former players

I want to see DJU hurried and sacked all night long.. If we do that, he'll throw some PI's and get frustrated and then Coach Mike will end up pulling him, a good ending for DJ when he sees purple and orange all evening long !!!

He didn’t live up to his football recruiting hype, but he wears the Clemson ring. After next Saturday’s game, he deserves grace.

Hard pass on DJU coming back to do anything.......

At this point and time it is hard for me to see DJU as anything other than a mercenary looking out for #1 to the exclusion of all things.
He left Clemson to go to Oregon State, plays until they get trapped in a PAC 12 that is almost non-existent, then transfers again to FSU so he can make BANK and be on a team made up of mercenaries.
DJU saw last year and was expecting FSU (like most sports writers expected) to pull off the same results as last years bought and paid for roster (sans the post Travis injury beat down by Gawja at the end of the year).
Hard pass.......In my opinion, that dude is in it for himself and no one else....

I agree 100% with you. DJ is not a team player, he is and always has been about the money. From the day he stepped on the roster he was looking for NIL deals and sponserships, and he left as soon as he faced adversity. He blamed Dabo and the coaches for not putting him in a position to win, but then he throws dirt balls all day long and LOST our game and broke our streak to our armpit rival. I was shocked he got a 2nd chance in the ACC Championship after losing to SC, but then he got one chance and thru dirt balls like he always does and Cade came in.
He is at FSU because he wanted to make money and thought that other players with his same quitter mentality would work with him, but look at FSU. Its knee deep in quitter culture and he is a perfect fit there. I don't care if he's a "good kid". his actions have been seen and his words have been heard. He talked bad about us after he left, and we all see how its all worked out. No. Love. Lost.

It would be extremely unwise to hire any individual for a leadership role who possibly has an axe to grind with the program
