Especially if you are (supposedly) pulling for them. IMO, EVERY one of the negative, denigrating and condescending comments made about our Tigers, the coaching staff, or their performance actually apply more to the tnetter (fan?) posting them, than to the team.
PS: Instead of flaming away at me or attempting to justify you or your comments, you sorry excuses for Tiger’s fans can just save your breath - or fingers. After all I, and the majority of the loyal, supportive, ‘All In’ Clemson fans, have read, often ignored, and endured your drivel for a long time. I guess losing to fsu was bad enough, but then seeing all the sniping here, has just pushed me past the tipping point tonight, so I felt the need to vent.

Uncle Bill....some folks are just miserable people. It's quite a trend. Especially if you never escaped the idea that sports and it's results are not tied inextricably to your personality.
Some of these people would apparently have no other way to "enjoy" their lives were it not for complaints and negativity.

So don’t take this the wrong way. I certainly don’t want to further trigger you. Just curious, what is acceptable to you? Can you never say everything negative even when things are going poorly? Is it better to pretend everything is good & there’s no problems? I think there’s a line between just simply bad mouthing a team & simply pointing out real issues. How exactly do you make it through life without being able to take any criticism? If you enjoy the praise when things are going well then I think you should be able to take criticism when warranted. I am just trying to understand how questioning certain things makes one less of a fan. Now, I understand that sometimes people go to far but generally most do not go too far. I for one try to be fair. I give plenty of praise when deserved but I also don’t pretend nothing is wrong when clearly it is. Is that okay? Some seem awful thin skinned whenever anything not 100% positive is said. You ever stop & think that maybe it’s just some frustration fueling this. Most even the most negative posters do care a great deal about their team or why else would they bother. No one on this board can do anything about the performance on the field good or bad . We have no power over that. So the only thing people can do for better or worse is comment, praise, question, complain, vent, & sometimes rant. Yes is it kinda pointless, definitely. But, I know sometimes it makes me feel better even if it’s just to get it out of my system. My hope is that you take this post for I intended it for. Not to retort yours or to be combative, but to reach some understanding exactly what is deemed acceptable for a fan. All of us seem to have different ideas what a fan is allowed to express before he is deemed a bad fan or even a pathetic person. Which is sorta crazy. There’s more than one way to express your fandom & I don’t think I have the right to tell someone how to be a fan although I probably have plenty of times. We can disagree & even not like it but in the end we all are fans.

Yeah some people take any apt criticism , well deserved in this case, as some personal slight or insult to some imagined fabric of Clemson fandom. Gimme a break . Callin a spade a spade is quite fine and doesn’t invalidate someone else’s right acknowledgment that a given team is failing

These "Student Athletes" are cashing large checks these days. I dare say some are earning far more than the average T-Net member.
The baseball team is well paid. It's also underperforming.
Oh...by the way...in addition to the salary (NIL-LOL) there is the matter of a free education, free meals, free housing, free medical, free training, and free travel to and from your "job".

Dang sorry uncle bill I mean daddy didn’t know there are rules. We can’t bad mouth. It is a message board. Secondly these kids play d1 ball and are getting paid and playing at a proud program where there is short leashes. Kinda expect these things when things don’t go well. Doesn’t mean me or anyone complaining isn’t a fan. It’s fine to talk and gripe. Heck I attend all home games and some road ones. But I gripe. I hope I’m wrong many times and have to eat my own words and I would say many others feel the same. It’s not like we wanna say this stuff but there are glaring problems and we like to talk about these things. You’re in the wrong place to tell anyone on what to do.

A good team will drop a series we get it and elite but you don’t play the same and stupid and the cards were there. If you can’t see a difference then get ya eyes checked. We played ourselves out of a national seed. Definitely not an elite team. Good yes but we ain’t got the horses to go far. Bakich yes sure a good coach no complaints but he knows staff is young and not much power at the plate
