Interesting question. Be something to see. I’d love to know what percentage enter portal and aren’t picked up thus forfeiting their scholarship and opportunity. They certainly don’t all get picked up.

where the percentage of those not picked up is significant. Made me wonder the same: then what in the tarnation do those kids do? Most, I suppose, go to any program that'll accept them as walkons, some give up football and work on their education or simply go to work. The most interesting bugaboo is that only a very snall percentage of players go to the NFL in the first place. So, we have a portal with 2,000 or more entries of people either looking for NIL paydays or a draft into the pros. Bad, bad business IMO.

What we have now is a Cambodian fire drill with slicky boys and Mamasans running amok without a clue where the fire is........

For the 2023 ffootball portal, 64% found a new school. 1 67% went back to their old school. That's a lot not taken. For every sport all together the number is around 50%.

a degree didn’t get picked up. If you have a degree it makes sense to test the waters for the best opportunity
