Cole Turner! Guy had a sub Par game against UGA (among many others) and has Balled out since. He has made several Tough Contested Catches throughout the Year. Would like to see him get more Snaps.

Honestly, the two we need to focus on retaining are Wesco and Moore. They stretch the field, which allows the others to get open more easily. That's the difference between last year and this year. Williams, Brown, Turner, and Randall were around most of last year, but none of them are the speedster that can take the top off the defense. If we lose the frosh, that's worse than losing the others.

Turner is very fast. As far as linear speed, he’s faster than Moore and ~ comparable to Wesco. Noticeably faster than
Wesco, it appears to me, has more shake & cut quickness than Turner.
Tyler Brown is faster than both Antonio Williams and to TJ Moore as far as linear speed.
Brown also seems to have truly superior shake & cut quickness; only A.Williams has better shake & quickness.
Of course, no one in the team has better ball skills than A.Williams. Maybe T.J. Moore will continue to improve his already-impressive ball skills and evolve into our top downfield pass catcher.
Remember another thing: Cole Turner missed most of last year due to injury. In 2022, he was RD’d and didn’t get playing time until late in the year so that his RS would be preserved. We all know how well C.Turner did in the ACC Championship game vs UNC.

However, here in 2024 we have enough quality depth at WR position to not suffer the same negative impacts that harmed the team’s 2022 and 2023 seasons.
When we get to our first CFP game in a couple weeks, Tyler Brown might be available again to further strengthen our already formidable WR group.
Betcha that S.Carolina fans are worried about Clemson’s WR group showing out and winning a game or two in the CFP.

He’s NOTHING like Renfrow. Dumb comparison. He’s made a few nice catches and you want to compare him to one of the best pure pass catchers and possibly best route runners we’ve ever had? Some of you guys sound insane.

Antonio Williams is our current WR whose abilities and effectiveness most closely aligns with what Renfrow gave us.
Both use ankle breaker moves to get open. Renfrow is a bit faster than A.Williams, but not as fast as C.Turner. Turner can really fly as far as linear speed.

I was not sold on him at first. Then I saw him take an end around and shake a DB. Dude has legit speed and quickness. I guess I was blinded by the fact that he is a sneaky athletic, blue collar, bring his lunch pail to work, coaches son, student of the game, gym rat.

Respectfully disagree about your assessment of C.Turner’s hands. While not of Antonio William’s quality (very few college WRs have hands as good as Antonio’s), from what I’ve seen as far as drops, Turner has better hands than Wesco (at this point) and than T.J.Moore (again, at this point).

Yes my friend. Cole Turner is our modern Hunter Renfrow. Throw the ball near him and he will catch it. I don’t know why they don’t use him across the middle like they used Renfrow back in the day.

Cole Turner, outside of the Acc championship game few years ago, hasn't done anything. He fast in a straight line, but that's about it. Dudes a decent player, but that's about it. Another great white hope. Foh..
