The Hill is nothing like it once was. The situation is a big mess due to bureaucratic safety regulations, litigation phobia, and simple logical ineptitude.
Once they added the seats in the curved sections on either side they might as well have just gone ahead and put permanent seating everywhere except the corridor that the team uses for the entrance. And this is obviously the direction they are moving even though they show a plan that retains the grass, but adds tiers and concrete. You can rest assured that within a few years, the tiers will become new permanent seats. They should just go ahead and do it.
Enclosing the corners while leaving the small patch of grass open, but then gradually restricting access has created the worst of all worlds.

I agree. They are up to something. My guess it will be converted to seating the next time there is a major upgrade announced. Surprised they haven’t sold the naming right yet like they have with everything else.

Did the university get sued or something Neffarious happen that we don't know about? Or is the ga tech ADs obsessed with making Clemson look like ga tech campus??? Last I checked, ga tech wasn't too good at any sport.
Putting stands on the hill is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Agree, if it ain't broke? Why. Building 40 mil bball opps center. Ghesh
Yeah, I'm an old biddie but I kinda liked how Clemson was pre 2000. Park at the church, the side streets, walk downtown without a parking garage. Condos and hotels everywhere. Don't even recognize it anymore. Oh well, hopefully I'll be dead when they start running out the lockerroom... because busses cost too much.

Fans are not consulted on improvements and should not be. Until the changes happen, we won't know what it will look like but for the 1 or 2 games a year that might be sold out, there could even room for more people on the hill.

LOL! That's also the look some will give when there is no more running onto the field after the game once Clemson is in the SEC or B1G.

That give tens of thousands of dollars(and in plenty of cases more)should not be consulted when that money is being spent?
Sounds like my kid wanting a new toy or video game, etc., and just expecting me to give him the money and that I should not care if the toy or game is appropriate for him.

putting stands on The Hill. IF they move forward with the project (which is something that has been discussed/considered off and on for the last 10+ years, it will be more like the Amphitheater-type seating.
Honestly, I have no problem with it as long as they don't mess with "The Most Exciting 25 Seconds in College Football".

Beginning to look like the strip of grass between the sidewalk and the curb. This University is losing its soul.
