and church all feel it is in the bag for them this time. They believe we will not be able to contain both their running QB and huge athletic RB. They feel their defense is far superior to ours and Cade will not have time to operate the offense. I have never seen them this confident in many years.

If death Valley is rockin, and the gamecocks come out and play tight, we win the game. If they come out and play loose, I legitimately think they win by two scores. Be loud be proud go tigers.

They have a right to be confident. They are playing better than us. They are a faster and better coached. Bad thing is by beating us yhey may get in the playoffs.

Coaching is going to play a huge role.
The offense goes dormant for long periods against better competition. Hopefully both coordinators make adjustments as the game goes along.

They were not great at all. Those teams are garbage. Every one of them. They didnt even have to play the only sec teams that MIGHT be legit in uga and texas. And oh by the way, got trucked by a middling ole miss team. They can be confident all they want, but its very much based on false assumptions.

Overconfidence has not been the coots friend. 2003 they are very confident victory 6317.
2005 they already declared themselves the winner before the game, first and 35.
2007 they thought they had it in the bag, oops. 2008 they were laughing about that game, oops
2010. I think we all knew what was going to happen in that game.
2014 they had already declared themselves the winner, got beat by one legged man
2021. They are extremely confident of victory and we beat them without letting DJ throw a pass.
There wasn’t much clucking last year, but I don’t think either side was super confident about that game
This year the clucking is about like it was in 2013. I hope the players feel the same way and forget to play the game.

Never.
I think being a Gamecock fan must be like being the youngest/littlest one at Thanksgiving.
You sometimes catch a break and get to sit at the big kids' table for a little while. But mostly, you sit over there and get what's left after the grown ups are done eating.
