Seems like his point is that Goodwin's defense has trouble stopping the run!! Against anybody!! I've got to concur with that!!

You can actually do this against virtually all of our opponents.
South Carolina - higher YPC against Clemson than all other opponents, third highest total behind A&M and Akron
Louisville - second highest YPC against Clemson (App State was most), third highest total (App State and Kentucky)
Texas - Highest YPC and Highest total rushing yards against Clemson
Georgia - Second highest YPC (Tennessee Tech) and second highest total rushing yards (UMASS) against Clemson
I won't keep going, but obviously, he wasn't cherrypicking stats. Everyone had success running the ball against us. We were the #86 rushing defense in total yards and the #102 defense in yards per carry allowed. To put that in perspective, the only Power 5 rushing defenses worse than ours were: Arizona, Rutgers, Mississippi State, Purdue, Iowa State, Syracuse, Oregon State, and Oklahoma State. We were the ninth worse rushing defense in the entire power 5, despite supposedly being the fourth most talented defense.

El Cid played our backups all 4 quarters. I mean 3 and 4 deep at spots.

. backups are why the defense looked exposed at times in the early part of the season
even near the end of the season it was because of the same reasons

Is there that large of difference between the Tigers defensive starters and 2nd and 3rd string players. Are our backups not any better than FCS football schools. Is it talent difference or development? If it's development then somebody is not earning their money.

Our defense is 80% underclassmen. You can’t develop guys who haven’t been here. We also have a depth issue right now and that’s why Dabo went to the portal. If the defense looks like it did this year next season against the run, then we have big issues.

should be reasonably considered to be of no effect? If that's the case then I would be even MORE in favor of cleaning house on defensive coaches. They ALL need to go.
