Smith was the best receiver we had in the spring game. Was not even close. Grisham is receiver coach. Woods and Parker have checked out. No way they going in first round with this effort. They gonna lose millions. Cade is a glorified DJ.

That’s why the portal will not work for Clemson while Dabo is the coach. He’s not and I repeat he’s not going to play a portal player as much over players he recruited from high school. Don’t care if they are better or not.

Except for Will Heldt. After the Ga. Tech game he had 133 snaps and that was third most.
But I doo agree that he doesn’t use the portal like he needs to. When Smith played he gave it his all, but most of the time he was on the bench.

Yeah, not sure what the deal is w Smith. On the field he’s shining bright.
I feel like we’re at a point in the season where it’s asinine to not play him - unless someone knows of off the field issues or practice problems with him.

I felt Lawson brought some energy as well. He's raw but the effort was there. Parker looks like he's pulling a Clowney when he's on the field.

We are the Practice World Champions every year remember? If you ain't looking good in practice, you ain't playing. We don't care if you look good during the actual game where it counts.
But yeah, it's time to have a whole new starting lineup against UNC. The current starters ain't getting it done obviously. I'm sure there has to be 22 guys on this roster that actually want to play and will give it their all and that alone will translate into a 110% better team than what we have seen so far.

Don't want a portal player to outshine someone who was recruited. It would mean Dabo was wrong in his thinking. I feel sorry for the guy as he came to Clemson for his senior season with no eligibility left.

Many non- starters and some starters will transfer. Dabo will be forced to use the porta.
