-10.5 means we are 10.5 point favorites. -110 after that means you bet 110 to win 100.
O51 means they set the total points scored between both teams in the game at 51. You bet on either the over or under side. -110 means you bet 110 to win 100.
-400 ml means you bet 400 to win 100 if that teams wins.

All bets have "odds" like -110, -400, +350, etc. If it is a negative number, then you have to "lay" odds, for example -400 means you risk losing $400 to win $100. If the number is positive, then you are "taking" odds, for example, +350 means you risk $100 to win $350. Both of those bets are considered $100 bets, by the way.

Betting $100 with -400 odds means you are risking $400 to win $100. You could lose $400 on a $100 bet.
If the odds were +400, then a $100 bet would risk $100 to win $400.

-10.5 means the team that is favored has to win by more than 10.5 to cover the spread. The -110 means that you have to bet 110 to win 100. Money line is where you just pick a team to win. So if you picked the favored team, you would have to bet 400 to win 100. Vise versa if you pick the dog. The 51 is the over under. So you bet either the two teams combine to score over or under 51 points.

Example: Clemson - 10 1/2 -110 -400 051 - 110
This line shows three bets that you can make.
1) (Spread) You can bet that Clemson will win by more than 10.5 points. You risk $110 to win $100.
2) (Money Line) You can bet that Clemson wins the game outright. You risk $400 to win $100.
3) You can bet that the point total of both teams added together is over or under 51. You risk $110 to win $100.

Don't get greedy, you don't need to always play the spread. Sometimes the money line is the way to go. Smaller returns, but less risk.

If you want to practice you can go to sportsplays.com and bet on a tiny scale without risk. You are given a bankroll of $1.00 or such and bet pennies. If you lose it all they just start you over. If you happen to keep building up winnings and get over $200 you can cash out. A good way to learn the ropes.

There are often several different point spreads that you can bet on a single game, each with their own odds. The example below shows a typical betting site for tonight's Arizona v. Oregon game and the different ways you can "Straight Bet" it.

You'll have to find a local bookie (to whom you will settle with each week) and he will give you a user account at whatever site he uses.
