YouTube's sitting there bluffing Disney while holding a pair of clubs. Playing right into their hands.
I'm going back to Hulu for $66/month for the next 3 months. Enough of this ballyhoo.

I have been holding on hoping they would get it straight. My grandma accidently signed up for ESPN plus last year and ive been bumming ever since the Disney/Youtube drama. The ESPN app is garbage though. Buffers like its on dial up for the first 2 or 3 mins.

Disney+ subscription but I haven't had any issues with the app. I've mostly accessed it they Disney plus and not the ESPN app though. I know you can do both.
I did have issues with sling when I tried switching games, bad lagging. O issues at all with Disney. My Internet can handle high plenty of streaming, you may want to check your wifi speed when it lags like that

I'm with HULU and will likely drop them after foseball is over if Tubes gives me a better rate again.

Good strategy. Everyone starts jacking the price out the roof a couple of years in. I called spectrum a while back trying to cancel and they dropped my rate back to the introductory rate. I just don’t have the time to be calling around all the time

You're playing right into Disney's hands.
Disney/ESPN jacked up their rates on DISH and Sling in 2022, caused DISH and Sling to go without for awhile until they caved.

"Dish accused Disney of walking away from the negotiating table after demanding a US$1 billion increase in the fee paid for the carrier.
Disney jacked up their rates on DirecTV in 2024, caused DirecTV to go without for awhile.

DirecTV filed a complaint Saturday with the Federal Communications Commission alleging Disney did not negotiate in good faith as the two sides remain at an impasse on a distribution deal.
“Disney has violated the FCC’s good faith mandates by predicating any licensing agreement on DIRECTV’s waiving any legal claims on Disney’s past, current, or future anticompetitive actions, including its ongoing packaging and minimum penetration demands,” a DirecTV spokesperson told CNN on Sunday.
In the 10-page complaint, DirecTV claimed the negotiations stalled because, “Disney insists on bundling and penetration requirements that a federal district court judge in New York recently found in the context of the ‘Venu’ joint venture to be unlawful, anticompetitive, and ‘bad for consumers.’”
Disney owns Hulu and Fubo, and they WANT to force you onto their platforms.

Disney did the same with Spectrum and DirecTV. Disney is the problem. They won't get me to subscribe to Hulu Live TV. I'd rather listen to the ROAR than give them another penny.
