False I never once said that we were in the tournament.
I said we had a chance which we did. Even after VT we still were a bubble team by most brackets.
Hell even after NC St 3 people had is still in

Based on what? I've been attacked by certain posters (ones who have felt free to attack other coaches in the past) for refusing to buy into the magical thinking that this was a tourney team. It is not. I called it. 5 years in a row multiple sub 150 RPI losses before the end of December. I hate it and am sick of watching it and sick of this message board embracing it. 5 YEARS OF THE EXACT SAME PATTERN. I'm sick of it because I am a fan and tired of the excuse making and utter ignorance about the sport of basketball that passes for fandom around here.

This was really meant for a specific poster's benefit since he's been trolling me all season. I genuinely don't enjoy it, but I knew - because I actually have a pretty decent grasp on how the things like the RPI and the tournament selection work -that we were not going to make it. The post reflects my certitude. I didn't hedge. I said 0% chance. While all possibilities aren't exhausted it appears more people are starting to understand the reality of the season. As I have said over and over - this is an overarching pattern of this coach. Drop multiple sub 150 RPI games before the conference season even starts and completely eliminate yourself before the end of December. 5 years. How many before that should bother me?
