So I had a pretty bad day yesterday

Worked a trade show this week, which is always kind of exhausting. We're winding down yesterday and I'm chatting with our booth neighbors talking about the hurricane, etc. and I get a text from my friend that says "Check out this updated model for Florence. May have to come stay with you". Thinking nothing of it, I indicate that I've got an update, everyone gathers around my phone as I click the link......And it's one of the biggest black men with one of the biggest BBC I think anyone has ever seen in their life. He's posing like Captain Morgan and it's almost touching the floor.
I cannot exit out of that fast enough, I just kind of threw my phone on the table and started apologizing. One of the more embarrassing moments in my life, because I wasn't drunk and cannot black out to forget it.
My puppy also escaped her kennel and chewed up the sofa. Thinking about heading down to Charleston and driving my boat straight into the hurricane.

was kind of shocked, but chuckled, the girl was like "LOL OMG". Still embarrassing. Glad I'll probably never see them again in my life. As soon as I saw it I was just like you mutherfugger....
I won't ever open another link from him again, more times than not it's something you don't want to see.

butt dialed his boss at a bar..and was talking crap about her to one of his employees. As soon as he figured it out and hung up, he and his employee got a call from an HR rep asking him to bring his laptop and phone into the office THAT night.
They both got canned on the spot.

This guy took the cake. Wanted to deny and deflect while refusing to comprehend the mistake he made. If you get promoted to the DIRECTOR of operations, then you need to start developing that maturity. Is there a thread for r/chittylegaladvice?
I'm sure he was even worse than the statements he shared.
Somebody last week in the Lunge mentioned a sexual harassment warning between his employees. Companies don't mess around with this chit anymore. Report it to the higher ups so you don't get stuck in the carnage.

though. When we went to Charleston, we stayed in between two groups of girls that were there for a bachelorette party. When we were coming back in one of the girls came out to run to the other room in only a towel. I kind of went 'ow owww' because I was also slightly drunk. She kind of gave me that ugh look and I never thought anything about it past that.
Am I going to lose everything now?

But when stuff like that happens to me, I'm just like "Hey, it's an old friend. He got me. Sorry you had to see that." and then just carry on. Maybe ask their opinions on what you can send for payback at a later date. Not as bad as my dad telling a customer once that he didn't know she was pregnant. She said "I'm not", with the coldest stare you've ever seen. Now that's bad. Ball was in dad's court. This was beyond your control. They should understand. I hope they laughed. I would have.

My ex-wife used to get asked all the time in the first year after she had our twins. It made her very upset.
Only time it’s ok to comment about pregnancy is when they like 7-9 months and it’s obvious they either pregnant or have a life threatening tumor in their abdomen.

I'm sure they told everyone, but I never got fired nor was it mentioned to me. Its been about 15 years ago, so I'm guessing the statute of limitations is up on that one.
