Clowney was a Spring Honor Roll recipient, so how bout get off the kid's @ss. Sick of getting beat by Carolina, just like you are, but your constant beating of this drum is not "classy."

Clowney grades are a GIFT. Seriously doubt he earned them.

That kid needed and got a 4.0 his senior year in high school, but needed every bit of it to get into college. So what does that say about the other 3 years in high school barely making a 2.0? I think it says this kid was given grades his senior year of high school and at USuC.

Clowney was NOT a Spring Honor Roll recipient. My father teaches Engliah at Sough Pointe High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He had a class with Clowney, and barely passed him. GTFO COOT.

You're showing your age. As an educator, I've taught dozens of kids like him that were passed year after year simply because they were athletes. So many of these kids are very bright when someone shows interest. Since you think its appropriate to call out one of your peers and lump him into a graduation rate for a class three years ahead of his, I feel it appropriate to point out the guymade Honor Roll last semester.
We've had hundreds of athletes like this over the years. Do you seriously think we wouldn't have gotten Herschel Walker in school? Don't you remember the time and effort Dabo put into Clowney that last week before signing day? You think we wouldn't have admitted him? You serious?
You'd be pissed if some wet behind the ears 20 something called out your kid unfairly on a message board. We're supposed to be better than that.

Dabo just did the same thing to Elijah Daniel, one of the best DE's out there... if you don't have the grades you don't play at Clemson, plain and simple

not sure what the GPA's are but if you are in any way trying to compare clemson academics to south carolina's, then you are obviously clueless... clemson sets a much higher standard academicly which results in lower gpa's. Also, Clemson only has A, B, C, D, and F's whereas SC has B-plus grades and so on... as a Clemson graduate with many friends that went to sc, I can honestly say that a GPA of about 3.0 at Clemson is equal to about a 3.5 or above in cootland
