So Chuck Oliver, an Auburn grad, is on the radio in Atlanta

today during the drive home and he is just crying and crying and crying about Dabo's reaction after the game Saturday. He was playing tapes of it, etc.I mean he is not having fun with it, but sounds personally hurt and is joining in with the Auburn fans crying about Dabo, I guess being excited after the game. He made some really nasty comments about Dabo and really made it personal. I'm thinking to myself:
1. This guy and the Auburn fans should be thanking Dabo for having Tahj take a knee twice inside Auburn's twenty to end the game or they would have given up 644 yards and 42 points. Heck he could have just spotted up and kicked a field goal right there.
2. I'm also thinking If you have just given up 624 yards to a team, maybe you have more pressing concerns than Dabo's level of sensitivity during his celebration with his fans.
3. That game was worse than the final score indicated due to the fact that it wasn't the run of the mill two touchdown separation. You had a team that had outscored the other by 31-3 since early in the second quarter and was on a nine minute drive taking a knee inside the others twenty to end the game.
4. Never knew such crybaby fans existed. I mean are people not supposed to celebrate. Look at Auburn's celebration after they beat us last year. And we aren't even an SEC team. Look at their celebration when they outscored Bama 28-3 to win 28-27. Granted they didn't outscore Bama 31-3 like we did Auburn, but they still celebrated.
To make matters worse Oliver reads an email from a "Clemson" fan toatally kissing butt and going along with Oliver's rant.
I have always liked Oliver because I think he is one of the better sports guys at what he does, but today he let his homerism come out way too strong. Talk about unprofessional. He really made it personal.
He said he had gotten so many emails from Auburn fans about Dabo's reaction. Really? Auburn fans need to stop crying and come back after Clemson next September. And Auburn fans, I hope your entire defense is returning next year because that was fun.
I am not going to bother to email or post to Oliver's site. But I wish some Clemson fans would remind him that Dabo did take a knee twice to save Auburn further embarrassment.
And as for SEC speed, well even Chuck himself had to comment on Clemson's speed. As did the football experts the other night. That is all.

spearing opponents in the back and intentional performing career-ending chop blocks than how the other team's coach celebrates after a truly beautiful victory.
What really irks them is that they got beat by Clemson AND Bama in one day.

Here's what the Auburn fans must have been expecting

Dabo to say,
"I am really sorry that we ended the Auburn team's win streak and ruined the day and visit for Auburn fans. I understand that the plan for the day was for Auburn to either blow us out or pull one out of their ### so Chizik could say it was a "God Thing" and "all in" while the Auburn fans filed out and took over the campus shaking their beloved shakers and chanting SEC, SEC. I am very sorry that we messed all of that up. And now I am going to walk off the field solemnly and wait until I get home to smile."

I've heard good things about Auburn fans for the most part, but this faction of "outraged" fans need to stop being such whiny little bítches and man up. They got their teeth kicked in, plain and simple.
The last coach they should be whining about is Dabo. Maybe they should be looking at Chizik or their D-coordinator.

We live in ATL area. My son's high school history teacher (an Auburn grad) has been a jerk all week about the game. My son said he WENT OFF on Dabo and talked about how he lost all respect for our coach after his post game interview. (Personally, I loved the interview!!!!) His teacher then proceeded to say we "stole" Tiger Walk, mascot, colors, and ALL IN from them. What an idiot. The guy even went to his computer and printed out an article about the similarities b/w the 2 schools. Funny thing is it mentioned nothing about us "stealing" anything. Thankfully, my son showed restraint and let him rant without arguing back...since he really needs to pass history! However, I told him if he says anything else just to smile and say "38-24". Meanwhile, he's wearing a different Clemson shirt everyday this week just to pour a little salt in the wound.

1. Almost every school has that type of walk now and Auburn didn't start it.
2. We all know they stole All In, but not a big deal.
3. Auburn has a Tiger Paw on the road in their Toomer Corner square. No doubt who started the paw.
4. Your not going to get him to believe it if he doesn't want to or refuses to. But could just print out Dabo doing all of the "all in" stuff in 2008. Long before Chizik arrived in Auburn.
5. Most importantly, when does this jerk find time to teach. Isn't he supposed to stay on subject in the classroom.
6. Thank goodness we didn't copy their defensive preparation.

Honestly, that's a little scary. I would see if there's another class he could change to with a more responsible, mature teacher. It's fine to be upset about the game, but the extents the teacher is going to is a bit much...hopefully he doesn't do anything in the future because of "what Dabo did".

Scary to see a HS history teacher not even knowing or putting forth effort to research something before stating it as a fact.
CU's Tiger mascot was from Princeton, not Auburn. This is not hard to research.
My mom's an Auburn grad and she love the post-game speech, said it actually made AU look good for someone to get so excited in beating them.

Taking a knee brought more humiliation to the sec tigers than if we had scored another TD.
I was blistering mad at Dabo for calling off the dogs until I realized he hates AU more than any of us. dth

Fock Chuck Oliver and anyone else that doesn't like it..His biggest problem should be that ESecPN can not stop running the Dabo segment. It's there clip of the week,an ACC school celebrating ending an SEC school winning streak. You just can't buy that kind of publicity...

I sent in an email yesterday afternoon when I got home but doubt it was ever read, mainly addressing what the Clemson fan wrote. I wouldn't have cared otherwise, but that email from the Clemson fan really ticked me off.
I like Chuck Oliver but thought he was off on that one. The comparison to Les Miles after the MSU game didn't make sense. They were completely different circumstances for each coach.
