Since some of yall want to talk about 13 genders

No, Clemson University does not have 13 genders on its application. Recent claims, including those from Rep. Nancy Mace and posts on X, alleged that a Clemson application included a dropdown menu with 15 gender options. However, Clemson University clarified that this menu was part of an external vendor’s optional health services portal, not the university’s housing or admissions applications. The form has since been removed, and Clemson is consulting medical professionals to determine necessary information for medical care purposes. The university’s official admissions applications (undergraduate and graduate) do not include such a gender.

Good. It’s clarified and removed. Story did its job.

This all started from a dishonest Twitter post, and our own alumni and fans sprayed gasoline on the fire for them. What is the term, useful idiots?

^^^ Probably would choose “questioning” from the drop-down box. Or maybe it’s a “two spirt”.
While calling the rest of us idiots. LOL

Most of us had two spirits back in the day. The first was at about 8 PN on Sat night in TTT looking for love with swagger and confidence. The second was at 11:45 after many beers knowing the window of opportunity was almost closed

Not that it matters, but I know two different

Families with kids who (in my dumb opinion) were born in a body that didn’t match their view of themselves. No mental illness, just questioning their physical makeup from the time they were little. So…..my unsolicited advice….unless you know someone or a family with a child who you have seen go through this issue for a decade or two is to take it easy on the “mental illness” schtick. Because I am an alpha male, it’d be easy for me to poke fun or tell them that there’s only a man and a woman. But there is an in between that I don’t understand, but have witnessed. These people are now in college and doing well and will be great members of society - one might end up being your doc, and you’d have no clue. So don’t be ignorant. That is all.

What gives you the authority to determine it’s not a mental illness?

We have some very good friends whose daughter went through all this. At first she was gay then she decided to become he. For years when she was gay, her mother explained that we needed to accept her for who she is and that she was born that way. That argument goes all up in smoke when she decides to change who she is and become a he. I don’t care what anyone else does in their private lives. Just don’t tell me I’m the problem if I accidentally “misgender” them because they have made it impossible to tell if they are male or female by their appearance. I’ve had that happen too and that is just someone looking to create an issue.
