So when they get a great recruit it’s due to NIL?

But when we do, it’s because of our great coaches?

Satterfield has recruited better each year he has been there.

They probably would’ve beaten us last year if their QB hadn’t gotten hurt.
Recruits notice these kinds of things.
Perhaps NIL played a role in getting this 5 star, but maybe not. Regardless, crediting NIL anytime a team not named Alabama, Georgia, or Ohio State gets a good player is unfair (not to mention being what sore losers do).

What the NIL is doing to college sports, especially football? What 18 year old and parents could resist $1M? So, we’re teaching our young men( and women, but mainly men) that their name and their looks are the things that will make them successful?

Every teenage model makes their living on their looks building their name... go pull out all of your Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition for all of the looks and names making bags of money...
Young men and women have been taught to use their looks from the earliest beginnings of time, even your Bible has a few...

When a program like Louisville with how bad they've been for a while starts recruiting like Bama right after NIL is legalized....uh yeah call me crazy but i don't think that's a coincidence.

In this case, yes
It’s Louisville. Terrible history of football. Do they compete for championships? How many NFL RBs are from there? What is their stadium capacity? How nice are their facilities?
Louisville doesn’t have much to offer these highly rated recruits from Texas and California. NIL is clearly helping them with this class.

Christ, who cares?
He said the N-word one time on a conference call. I heard it 4,763 times on the last Lil Wayne album.

they have some mmajor money coming in from boosters and big timers in the city. UofL pretty much shunned Papa John so not sure how much he is supporting them (if at all) right now.

Absolutely I agree! This kid is from Texas and was offered by the big wealthy schools in that state and still chose Louisville?? God knows why. He did play on a 7 on 7 team in Las Vegas with the kid who committed to Louisville as a quarterback.

It takes more than one good recruiting class and that is if the kid stays committed. Trust me when it gets close to Feb and you have a Texas, USC or Texas AM needing this kid the bidding war may get real. Unfortunately we don't have people in this game that put morals and values above winning at all cost. And other fan bases and even our own can claim this or that about Dabo but he isn't going to compromise his ethics for the game of football. I'm not going to claim anything nefarious with this situation and unless it becomes a trend. By trend I mean Ole Miss bringing 5 stars from across the country all of a sudden.
