Robert Griffin 3 was probably my favorite on game talent ESPN had. He was entertaining, knowledgeable, and unbiased. He recognized game and acknowledged it regardless of the player or team. It helped that I always thought I was listening to Andre 3000 as a football commentator 😂.

RG3 made a comment about Phil Mafah in a game that was way bad...that MA fah can run , a little off center humor that did not strike me as funny...bet PM did not like it either!

Nothing. They replaced him with Jason Kelce, who is the brother of the dude that is dating Taylor Swift. ESPN trying to cash in on Taylor Swift because nothing else is working. Sam Ponder also fired.

Jason Kelce is a future NFL Hall of Famer and a charismatic guy with a popular podcast that was already popular before his brother started dating Taylor Swift.

You are right. Taylor Swift has absolutely nothing to do with. ESPN just liked his hairdo and charismatic smile... Please. Don't be so gullible.

I didn't love RG III.

I guess he wasn't my particular brand of vodka.
However, if he got cut with time left on his deal, then it's a bottom line move. Same with Ponder.
ESPN's got some lean years ahead and to be honest, on-air talent is a highly-perishable item. Take it from me who was once on-air talent.
It's a dirty, dirty, dirty business, TV.

It’s allegedly budget cuts, RG3 was one of the few ESPN commentators that I liked. Hope Fox scoops him up.

They're still going to pay his salary for the rest of his contract, though. I don't think that was the real reason.

Good Christian men cheat on their pregnant wives and get tattoos of their new girlfriends while they're still married?

Ah yes, the continued persecution of the white Christian man…how will we ever make it…it’s a miracle we made it this far with only our vacation homes and substantial generational wealth to keep us off the streets.

Insofar as the persecuted class had a good run financially?

No…not at all…but I also don’t believe anyone is being persecuted for being white, Christian, or male. That was the point I was trying to make..perhaps poorly.

He has his podcast which is great and I'm sure he will get a job on another channel. ESPN always let's the good ones go.

What is ESPN thinking? Always the good ones. Wonder if they’ll hire Caitlyn Jenner as the next commentator? Seems like that’s about right for ESPN.

He committed the sin of defending an undefeated ACC Champion for being upset about being left out of the CFP. Obviously not a Company Man.

R.Griffin was one of my favorites. Remember him calling a Clemson/ NCSU game a year or so ago and he was one of the best I heard all year. Ponder is the absolute opposite of what those freaks are looking for, matter of fact both of them are

Same reason Sam Ponder was fired. Disney doesn’t like people saying men can’t play in women’s sports!
