How is a ref suppose to judge what is racial? Most black players use the N word multiple times per day so how is it an issue when fans copy the players? Fighting, artificial noise makers, a whistle or too drunk to function would be reasons IMO. Otherwise, simply the game

I got ejected from a high school basketball game I was playing in one time because of a fan. The fan was my Mom. The other team was badly outmatched so one of their players tripped our top scorer and he lost his cool and threw the ball at him and got ejected. That was their game plan. During the timeout my Mom (picture Granny Clampett at a HS basketball game) was giving the opposing player the business and he turned and shot the bird at her with both hands. Who knew you’d get ejected for charging the other team’s huddle and tackling the offender? We still won the game because the other team really was that bad. Good times.

I got ejected as a player in a basketball game and to this day, I don't know why. I think the ref thought I was throwing a punch but I was not, just trying to knock the ball away. I asked our coach and didn't know either.
