So not only did he decommit, but then he lied to everyone

Nov 8, 2012, 11:30 AM

NICE.

Family's going to make the best decision for Robert =

Nov 8, 2012, 11:30 AM

Momma's check cleared and she is heading back to Nigeria.

"Excuse me? I don't go down to your work and tell you how to flip the burger!"

Really unfortunate for the kid

Nov 8, 2012, 11:31 AM

I honestly feel bad for a guy who's life decisions are dictated to him by his family to support their own agenda.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

LOL at this statement....

Nov 8, 2012, 11:32 AM

"The family's going to get together and make the best decision for Robert."

Translation: The family is going to get together and make the best decision that is most convenient for and appeals to Mom.

At this point, I really don't care what he does. Just tired of all the drama. The whole situation really is rediculous.

Re: LOL at this statement....the Ole Miss thing

Nov 8, 2012, 11:34 AM

has always been curious. She is seldom here yet it is very important for him to go 350 miles away from where they live in Ga to be with his brother rather than 100 miles up the road.

badge-donor-05yr.jpgringofhonor-74tiger.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

There have been rumors circulating for a while now....

Nov 8, 2012, 11:36 AM

that a very lucrative medical practice in Memphis would offer his father a job and relocate the entire family to that area.

pull the offers to his teammates

Nov 8, 2012, 11:32 AM

Sorry we have higher caliber guys in line and we need these spots. It looks more and more like this was a ploy.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No way.

Nov 8, 2012, 12:57 PM

These are good players. We're fortunate to have them.

Nov 8, 2012, 11:38 AM

if he wants to play for a perennial doormat in front of a partially filled 60,000 seat stadium, hoping beyond hope for an invitation to the Liberty Bowl, more power to him.

will sign with Clemson on National Signing Day.

Nov 8, 2012, 11:35 AM

Until Ryan Bartow and a particular poster on TI says otherwise, this is a non-story

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Tend to Agree

Nov 8, 2012, 11:53 AM

I think where Kamara and Schuessler (sp?) are goign to play are as or more important than Denzel. I think he wants to appease his family by saying he's still mulling his options, but I think he ends up a tiger on signing day.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

wishful thinking but not going to happen

I've honestly been more impressed with Gallman's on field tape anyway. He never jumped off the screen at me anyway.

Nkemdiche's decision

Nov 8, 2012, 12:04 PM

When is his mom going to visit Clemson if she hasn't already?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Nkemdiche's decision

Nov 8, 2012, 12:10 PM

Well if you didn't read one of the one million reports from AJC, his mom will never visit clemson as it is out of her selfish way that she is not even slightly interested in the school that her son has her heart set on.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Nkemdiche's decision

Nov 8, 2012, 12:28 PM

Ok, I hadn't seen the one where she said "it was out of her way to go to Clemson" and the only reason she went to Ole Miss was because of Denzel. Does anyone know if Dabo has spoken to Robert's mom?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Read the tea leaves......

Nov 8, 2012, 12:59 PM

It's OBVIOUS the family is on the take. How could mom fly 1/2 way around the world and not find time to visit her son's first choice for college? They were getting the deal together. It is now finalized. Clemson is NOT the plan. Wait and see.

2024 purple level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The family is going to make the best decision for Mom!

Nov 8, 2012, 12:31 PM

I'm sorry but if Robert is sincere in his desire to come to Clemson, his mother is just selfish. She has publicly stated she has no desire to visit any school other than Ole Miss or schools that Ole Miss plays. It doesn't matter what Robert wants. And, I agree with others... what does she care if they're at the same school if she's in Nigeria. She can't watch them anyway. I just can't imagine telling one of my two sons that I don't care where you want to go.

If Robert felt pressured to commit to us for some reason and won't just admit it, then I guess his mom is the only one being honest. If that is the case, I take back everything above and wish him the best.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

What about RN's father in these "families' decisions"?..

Nov 8, 2012, 12:48 PM

I have heard everything negative coming from the mother in the past week but no input from the father. Previously reported he is a physician in Atlanta and I assume is the one providing for RN on a daily basis. He must have approved of his son's prior commitment to us or at least allowed his son to make his own decision. Mom comes from another continent (how often?) and makes Hurricane Sandy look mild. Why isnt the dad having any input if this is to be a "family decision"?

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So Clemson having three of your team mates?

Nov 8, 2012, 1:24 PM

Mean nothing to you? Really dude your mom needs to stay out of your college decision she doesn't even live here and your brother could transfer to Clemson and leave Ole Miss the two of ya'll at Clemson would be a better impact than at Ole Miss.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Thank goodness, now lets go and get a good DE and not

Nov 8, 2012, 1:53 PM

have all of this trashing of Clemson. I hope I never see RN or his family on Clemson soil ever again. Go to Ole Miss, a program that lost to Vandy last year 31-3.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This is why I don't pay attention to recruiting. Let's face

Nov 8, 2012, 1:59 PM

it folks... He won't be coming to Clemson.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Robert Nkem.

Nov 8, 2012, 3:13 PM

Let him go! Theirs more out their just as good!
