Realistic Basketball season finish

I think on the high end we can finish 10-5 which would give us a 24-6 (13-5 ACC) finish. In the low end we finish 8-7 which would give us a 22-8 (11-7 ACC) finish. I know the low end could be lower but barring injury this seems the most realistic given how this team is playing. We’ve all been heartbroken by the Tiger BBall team before but this hot start has set us up nicely for sure. These numbers look high at first but once you look at the schedule it def seems not only possible but likely. What’s your realistic record predictions knowing what we know right now? Go Tigers!!!

Alright then Mr. Grinch. We're ranked ahead of UNC right now FYI. Time to support the hoops team. Thanks for reminding us you didn't go to Clemson and are the most fair weather fan in existence

when we were 14-1 overall, 3-0 in the ACC, ranked in the top 20 of the polls, and had a top 10 RPI?
Yes, you're right, this happens all the time. Practically a yearly occurrence.

As long as we don’t go on the typical long ACC losing streak we should make the tournament. I believe FSU, Miami, UVA and Duke are the only teams better than the Tigers as of now. All 4 of those teams have very good post play and that’s something we need to get better at.

I think we can play with all of those teams. We may get beat down low some but our guard play will keep us in any game I believe. Watched some of the FSU-Miami game and neither look any better than we do.

Finishing 6-9 would put us at 20-10 with a .500 record in ACC play, even that would probably get us into the tournament because we have a couple nice wins. I'd say that's your low end.
High end probably like 10-5ish and you're 24-6 (13-5 ACC) and that probably lands you in the middle of the tournament pack, like a 5-7 seed(ish.)

This upcoming stretch will tell us a lot.

We have 3 games in 5 days, including at NC State, at home against Miami, and at UNC. I would be very happy to go 2-1 in that stretch, but 0-3 is definitely possible. We could also go 3-0. Even if we go 0-3, I think we are a very good team this year.
I don't think we are the best team in the ACC, but I do think we are solidly in the 4-8 range. I think we will, at minimum, finish .500 in the conference (9-9). We only need to finish 6-9 from here on out to do that. If we do that, we will finish 20-10 overall, which would be more than good enough to get into the NCAA Tournament.
More likely, I think we will win 10-12 ACC games. This would put us between 21-23 regular season wins, and probably somewhere in the 4-6 range in terms of NCAA seeding. I could certainly see us winning more than 12 ACC games, but I'm not ready to predict that yet simply because the ACC is so tough. We play a solid to great team every night. There are no easy games.

IMO if we go 11-7 in ACC we are in. We need to get to 22 wins to feel safe in making the big dance- Or 21 and win one in the ACC Tourney.
Keep it going- Go Tigers!
