This is Part one in his 12 part series on Heaven. Randy Alcorn is recognized as the leading authority on Heaven. You may come away with a whole new perspective of Heaven after listening to just this video. I highly recommend listening to all 12 episodes if you can find them on you tube. You can order the 12 part series on a set of 6 DVD's for $16.99 at his website. That's a pretty good deal.

Here's link for first video.

There is a good resource about Heaven by Randy Alcorn for children ages 8-12.

Max Lucas also has some good children's resources on religion and God for children.

Here is link for Alcorn's children resource.

1 Corinthians 2:

"9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."

See that little word 'but,' in verse 10? When someone says something then follows it with 'but,' it means that there is an exception to what he just told you. Pay attention also to the qualifications which allow for the exception.

Over my 50+ years being a Christian I've sat in churches and seen men of God use vs 9 as if it's some immutable truth that we can never understand what's heaven is like because 'neither have entered into the heart of man the things God hath prepared for them that love Him. Never once have I heard a preacher mention the exception.

I've never heard vs 12 preached along with vs 9. So what is it that's so simple even a newborn Christian can comprehend and why does it take that guy 12 episodes and cost 17 bucks to find out?
