Please keep the language decent on here. We have a lot of younger people read this board. Please respect them. Personally, I'm 74 years old and I don't want to see it either. Thanks for any consideration!

Profanity is the young kids language. I was in Walmart few days ago and a little fat boy probably 6-8yrs old called his mom a F"n B**** because she wouldn't buy him some candy. I sat there steaming, I wanted to turn that little sucker upside down and tan his hide but of course I did not.

Can’t stand this generation using boomer as a derogatory term. Just to school you on what “old folks” have meant to this nation here’s a bit of a history lesson about generations. The greatest generation did perhaps the most with the least. They birthed the boomer generation that invented pretty much everything important you’ll find in your home today from television to video games. The boomer generation didn’t live off of gov hand outs. The boomers birthed GenX who took those boomer inventions and got the most out of them. We made the smart TV’s, smart phones, made video games what they are, made computers, iPads, smart watches, and instead of complaining rolled up our sleeves and fixed what we saw wrong.

It’s also a respect thing. Boomers are probably your Great Grandparents. You KNOW how amazing your grandparents are/were. Every generation degrades a bit from the previous. I’ve seen the work ethic, morals, respect, drive, motivation, and for he most part IQ drop every generation. The last hard working generation was probably GenX. Gen Alpha had a IQ boom thanks to tech but have the least social skills.

Next time thank a boomer. Thank them for being one of Americas hardest working generations. You stand on the shoulders of the generations before you. Respect them. That’s all.

Well as others have stated, this is probably the most resticted forum site I have ever visited. I don't see profanity as an issue on here especially when you can't spell the D## word that holds water back. The obnoxious name calling just because someone doesn't agree vs having a conversation is much more of a problem vs someone typing VVTH!

Thank you for reminding us to mind our manners. There is no excuse for using profanity and offending nicer folks who may be trying to enjoy this forum or eroding any innocence of those who are younger. For myself, I'm pushing 60, have spent plenty of time in barracks, lockerooms, gyms and fields. Just because I've heard it all before doesn't free me to disregard the innocence and sensitivities of others in a public setting. Trying to justify otherwise points to a laziness and selfishness worth trying to avoid.
