Pretty ugly at first light in Easley

Next door neighbor on one side has multiple trees down on his fence in back yard. Said none hit the house. Next door neighbor on the other side looks to have a large tree at least partially on his deck in back. We have some limbs and trees down behind our house.

Was looking ok on my 7 acres here in Greenville until about 7:00 this morning. Then the trees started coming down……one huge one that came within 5’ of my house. Others all the way down or hung up on other trees. Pretty much a huge mess. Worst storm in over 30 years of living here.

We lost our biggest 100 year oak. Thankfully, did not hit the house. However, my neighbors house has different oak on top of it…..

We had another large tree come down about 8:30 that clipped the edge of the roof on the way down. Still too windy to go outside and assess damage.

I’m in Roebuck area and we have no power. Duke is reporting that there are over a million people with no power.
