Predictions for Saturday

I say Tigers 41-21. We get back on track vs the Twerps. Tajh has a solid game, Defense gives up a few big plays (see Syracuse) but over all plays well. All of Dabo's critics begin to change their stance. Many may even go to Knickerbocker's and buy a sweatshirt. All is right with the world. Other picks: Mizzou 35 Chickens 21 Alabama 28 Tennessee 17 (Tennessee will lead for a quarter and get all of our hopes up) FSU 41 NCSU 24 (close for a while, but FSU proves to be too good) Give me your picks

If Clemson ever needed a complete game blow out,it's against Maryland. 41-21 does not even come close to getting us back on track. Neither will putting up 50. Clemson needs to put up 60 plus(FSU GOT 63). The offense needs to be running on all 8 cylinders, but even as important,is keeping the Maryland offense out of the end zone. As far as the other games,I want to see Missouri put it to the Coots like I hope we do to Maryland. The other games I could care less about. We have no control over any of them, especially FSU,and State.Hope State could win,but don't see it.
P.S.I have enough sweat shirts.

60 plus? That's a tall order on the road. I believe we have done that once in the last 30-40 years. That was a very good night (63-17).

Not if you don't show any mercy.

That's true. Dabo tends to be merciful though, sometimes a little too much for my taste. In all three of our blowout wins this year, we have only scored 7 points in the 4th quarter. Some of that is due to our second/third/fourth string being in the game, but the play calling is also partially to blame.
On a similar note, I understand the importance of playing time for the backups, and I understand the danger of the starters getting hurt, but there is also something to be said for giving the starters more playing time together to build chemistry. Backups have played all or most of 6 quarters this year. I can't help but think that a game and a half worth of extra playing time for the starters would be good, especially for an offense that is lacking rhythm and is still making too many mistakes.

Maryland will be lucky to score 14 points.......

This will be an epic beat down...
We need to hang 70 on them if we can.
The teams needs it and Maryland needs it as a parting gift for leaving the ACC

Would be huge to score 70 and lay a beat down on them

I'm hoping my prediction is a conservative one. The past 2 weeks have me a little shaky, and we've had some close ones with the Twerps at Byrd. The fact though that I predict a 20 point win on the road and people think that's too low should say volumes about the progress Clemson football has made, even after the debacle vs FSU.
