This is where the team has to still, at this moment, sort things out. The 4th starter which will be crucial in regionals (should we lose a game) and hopefully the CWS. Guessing Dvorsky gets the nod? Probably a Johnny Wholestaff day. Hopefully Bailey can get back on track. Also haven’t seen Hudson Lee in what seems like forever. Has good numbers but is he hurt or was he pitching poorly before being benched?
I think usually it would be Haugh but he pitched in relief yesterday. So we might see their no. 4 as well.

Yep, just saw that. He can be tough. If his movement has control, he'll keep them off balanced. Probably see Fitzgerald.. dvorski. Gillen?

Think you're right. It's like coach said after ga tech, "didn't know who would pitch, just have to look at the line-up and see who we got..."
Lee's a wildcard. Like his stuff, just the outings he's had, is his control issues to throw strikes. Did we ever get an answer to where Darden is? Still hurt? Do you risk garris?
It was disappointing to hear coach say bisetta and McCladdie are done for the year... so not even available for Omaha.
Do you give Samol some pitches? Have to be a short leash as runs are probably going to be premium.

I heard an interview with coach EB last week and he said Darden is still hurt. He’s thrown more but still hasn’t stepped on a mound to pitch “live”

What happened to Mcladdie and Bisetta? I had not heard that news. That hurts really bad. Both had some really good games this season and off the bench to PH and to plug in on defense those are big losses.

Best case is Bailey can go 4 innings. Mahlstedt is available to go 2-3 innings. It will be really situational depending how the game plays out. Could end up throwing 8 guys but hopefully someone gets hot and we can ride him

I agree. Keep our bats heated and get an early lead would be a welcomed site.
Either way, hopefully we've done enough for that 8 seed... imo (won't happen but should) lsu shouldn't be a national seed since they're not playing in sec championship. They have a lower rpi and a much lower sos than us. But the polls like them.

Bailey should have a really short leash. His last 4 outings have been bad -- 17 H, 16 ER, 3 K over 5.2 IP.
