I saw that too. Very clear his hand was injured on that play.

go back to the '18 game, and watch the hit the syracuse player takes TL out of the game with.he purposely uses his shoulder to put full force to TL's head.-no call.sorry, but syracuse is consistently a very dirty team willing to do just about anything to win.and let's not forget kelly bryant.anyone else see a pattern?

Has this been addressed or even mentioned by DJ or Dabo?

I know we have seen Ngata’s emotional outburst but is there a link to any discussion directly addressing what may have happened?

Of course, you know Dabo and his LOOK Forward Windshield mentality . DJ also has shown himself not to be an excuse maker. NOT SAYING Ngata is one, he was just explaining WHY

No, it hasn’t, and the more times I see this, the madder…

…I’m getting.
It brings back the Dave D-Wayne Gallman targeting call that LITERALLY knocked Gallman out cold temporarily. And, it was Dave’s comment post-game where he bragged about taking Gallman out of the game that solidified my disgust of Dave D, no matter how many times he claims he didn’t mean what he said.
I do want to know if Dino knew about this cleat-stomping incident on DJ’s hand or hands, because if he did and he swept it under the rug, then, impression of Dino will hit rock bottom.

I've seen video of #23 in other games and he walks (struts) over opposing players after the tackle. Dino should see this in film. --' but apparently he condones this behavior.

And don't forget about the Cuse player who rakes Cades head. Not sure which Cuse player this is. But Dabo may want to have a chat with Dino about his team's behavior on the field.

It looks to me like number five steps on DJ's hand. Maybe DJ yelled, Ngata didn't know what was going on so he pulled the closest player away. DJ is fired up when he stands as well. Looks like another "missed" call.

Yeah, it is out of character for Ngata to act like that - they knew something was up.

I am not doubting Ngata's version of the play. But, there are so many people surrounding DJ that from the view of the camera I cannot see any evidence to support Ngata's claim.
I'm sure if you asked the Cuse players they would say that they don't even know who spiked DJ and if it was even a spike it was unintentional.
This may be why Dabo is not making it an issue.
Similar situation years ago. A Florida player accused an FSU player (Darnell Dockett) of trying to stomp the hand of the UF QB. Spurrier made a huge deal about it. Dockett denied it. There was no video evidence one way or the other. Spurrier made it an issue in the Florida media for a week. Reporters were asking Bobby Bowden about it. He deflected it. Spurrier publicly stated that Bobby coached his players to play dirty and intentionally injure players. After about a week of Spurrier traveling around the state spouting his claim that Bobby coached players to play dirty the AD at FSU (Dave Hart - who went to Tennessee a few years later) called a press conference and defended Bobby Bowden. Some of y'all may remember this quote: A reporter asked Hart what did he think should happen to Spurrier for making these personal attacks.
Hart responed: "I wish that someone would spank him, put him to bed and hope he wakes up all grown up."
Some folks speculate that Spurrier resigned just a few days after this because he did not think his AD and administration were supporting him in his accusations.
I think Dabo is doing the right thing. It would do no good to Clemson for Dabo to try and explain to the media why Ngata did what he did.

Nothing hurt like being accused of somthing that you...

didn't do. I was accused of stealing a pencil sharpener which was shaped like the capsule on our first manned flight. Yes, it was that long ago and it still bothers me that the one I had was identical but I'd bought mine at the mom and pop store across the street from the school that very day.
That incident of having people look at me thinking I was a thief caused me to take great care when making an accusation I can't back up.
As far as the hand stomping, I saw photos of DJ's hand and am certain that if a teammate had done it or it had been accidental it would have been mentioned. It would have been a good excuse to explain how Cade and DJ swapped places, at least.
I am satisfied that it was done with intent and that POS, COACH at Cuse has figured that out by now and expect him to do nothing about it, again, and again, and again.
