Notes and Observations from the Furman Game.

Wes Goodwin needs a Get Back Coach if these players are going to take him seriously. I know that if I am out on the field playing linebacker, and it looks like a 260-pound S&C trainer is using all of his might to keep the DC from running out onto the field to strangle me, I will play a lot harder. I am not getting this Vibe from Coach Goodwin. This could affect production, we will just have to wait and see.
The Video Board was not all that impressive, when the players were running down the hill, they were actually bigger in person than on the board. I also had a tough time reading the score, but in all fairness, I was groggy from my nap in the Upper Deck.
Being this the first live game that I have attended in 23 years, I was surprised to learn that the Yellow line indicating the first downs was not actually on the field. I thought they did this this with lasers and not some sort of Television Trickery. I am not sure how I feel about this, I will probably opt to watch from home because this makes the game easier to follow. Half of the time I did not even know what down it was because that was not on the bottom right of the field either.
Furman is a much better team than Georgia tech, I was able to determine this by looking at the final score after I woke up.
Parking was not nearly as bad as a lot of you claim it to be. I was able to park right under the oculus, and Valet moved it to the campus police station where it remained safe all day. I think it only cost me $214.00, I have paid way more than that for VIP parking at WWE matches.

I think a "get back" coach is a mistake. Coach Goodwin needs to strangle just one LB after missing an assignment and the rest will get the message. I'm not certain, but I don't think a strangled player counts against our scholarship numbers.

$214 to get your car back? I think you left out what you had to do though.

I actually agree with this, and I need the green line so I know how far we need to progress in order to kick a field goal.
