What are you talking about?

Georgia Smokefree Air Act of 2005

There's only a handful that allow smoking and that's because no one under 18 is allowed.

Finally!

I am spoiled going out to eat in Greenville. When I go to Charlotte, it seems so odd to be asked "smoking or non-smoking?".

Yeah, finally

We finally prohibit owners from allowing a legal product/activity on their own property. Truly awesome

If the market exists for smoke free places (and it does) then a business will spring up to cater to that market.

Smoking certainly isn't something you have the right to do on someone else's property... but neither is being in a smoke free environment on someone else's property.

you who are, know this: each time the government takes away another liberty, the snowball grows larger. Smoking in bars today, eating red meat tomorrow. Im sick and ####### tired of the government regulating what I put in my own body.

Exactly. Legalize pot.

Jan 2, 2010, 5:21 PM

this law is horse####. Restraunts I understand, but bars?

Jan 2, 2010, 2:57 PM

NOBODY is in a bar for healthy reasons. The whole thing is absurd beyond belief. Few bartenders I know are initially enforcing this crap though.
