sounds like this group is focused and dialed in! Eager to be great, very encouraging. And I'll tell you one other thing....Tony Elliot is an exceptional coach. He should have some marvelous opportunities in the near future to lead a program

Wasn't it mentioned in an earlier article that Choice left practice with what seemed to be an injury to the repaired knee? Anyone here an update on that?

It sounded to me like we just did from Coach Elliot. From his comments I take it that Choice is doing great. I hope so. He was impressive last year, IMO.

This article is quoting Elliot after Fridays practice, the same day Choice left the field early because of his knee. So the timeline is unclear since very little was written about yesterday's practice. There is no mention of Choice in anything that I've found since he left the field.

Choice didn't participate in the final periods of Friday's practice after appearing to have injured that knee, but we've spoken to a couple of people and Choice is okay.
You didn't hear anything after Saturday's practice because there was no availability, but we'll be out there for 30 minutes during Monday's morning session.

and HE might be the best back on the team.
Although he played QB in HS, he looks sooo nature at RB.

I was very impressed with Choice last year and was hoping that he would be our number 1 back towards the middle of the season. But i do agree with some people who said it might be best for him to RS this year. No need to rush back from the injury, i just hope he takes his time to make sure he's 100%.

This year's coachspeak phrase: "He has a look in his eyes"

Either it's what they are using or they are just being quoted on it more. Not sure exactly what it means but for sure one thing is it says they are burning to get plugged in and play perfect.

With the talent we're going to have on offense, if our tempo can be as fast or faster than Oregon's, we will be unstoppable.

Dang - no mention of Ty Dye or Crowder. I was hoping to hear a LOT about those two. I hope Dye is fully recovered and can make those moves that he made in HS before all the injuries.

Mitch Hyatt is going to learn a lot really fast from having to face Shaq Lawson on every play. I can't even imagine having to line up against him day after day. By the time Mitch gets to play against other teams, watch out! He's going to be ready to stuff them into the ground!
