We can easily lock up a top 5 class if not the #1 overall in 2017. The amount of elite prospects all over the board have been visiting and having us in their top teams. We already have #1 overall QB 5* hunter Johnson and a nice 4* oline. Recruiting staff is going hard clemson is here to stay. It's been a long time since we've recruited highly touted players that aren't just skill posistions or DE, we are recruiting big hogs on both o and d line plus a lot of defensive guys. Dabo and staff have turned clemson into a powerhouse here to stay!!! Great things coming Go tigers!!!

That's an absurd amount of talent. Simply unreal - a great weekend for hosting with social life, weather, and football momentum all at their peak

that Hunter Johnson rarely steps into his throws? From what little, and I mean very little, bit of tape I've seen, the Chase kid looks a bit more impressive. What do yall think?

QB game is evolving. Less step means a quicker release and they are figuring out how to load and transfer weight to still get zip on the ball. Similar to a golf swing or a baseball hitter who does not step forward as much. Most QBs are pretty good golfers because they are good athletes but also they understand weight transfer and how to use the lower body. It's getting harder to judge these kids based on their film. The good qbs don't want their best stuff out there for scouting reasons. I do agree Brice looks like the guy with more upside on film, and I'm sure he feels the same way otherwise he would not be coming. Hunter has an elite ranking for a reason, he looks very well coached and accurate. I get the feeling his best stuff is not on film.

There is a reason it has been taught for a very long time to step into the throw. It's because you can't throw it accurate consistently off the back foot. There are some guys who can still get the zip on it, but can't do it every time. If you look at Cam Newton, he has been criticized since he was at Auburn for doing that. No one argues his arm strength, but his mechanics. I overthrows guys on 10 yard outs when he doesn't step into it, but hits them when he does. Even on deep balls the same thing happens for him. This might be something Coach Streeter can coach him/them up on though.

High school stars don't want their best stuff on a highlight tape?! Explain that logic

When opposing coaches get film on a team they trade with a team that has already played them is usually how it works so I'm not sure what you mean by "they don't want their best stuff out there"
