If you go by the four best teams in the country, which is what they are supposed to do, then I would say...
1. Bama 2. Clemson 3. Louisville 4. Ohio St

Bama and Ohio ST are the best teams right now. I don't believe anybody can beat them. We are not playing great but we have 2 of our 3 toughest games already won. It comes down to us beating FSU that's the only thing standing in our way. The Pitt game and the ACCCg could be tough but nobody left on our schedule except FSU. Can beat us

1. Bama 2. Ohio State 3. Clemson 4. Washington (see them going undefeated and winning pac 12)
- just do not see a conference getting two teams in if the pac 12 has an undefeated champion

Agreed. All this Louisville talk is knee jerk reaction to a good game. Unless there is an extreme circumstance like a 3 or 4 loss conference champion, the 4 best conference champions should be in the playoffs.

Right now it is clear cut top 3 of bama, ohio st, and clemson.
4th for now is Washington but I think they will lose 1 or 2.
Michigan and A&M will be taken care of.
If Houston wins out they are in and if not Louisville will need a two loss champion from the big 12 and Pac which is completely possible.
