My sons last day as a Clemson student is today

He’s finishing up his Masters (which he paid most of) in Economics and Data Analytics. He will be graduated next Friday, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. The best thing is he already has a great job (which they created for him) lined up close to home with the same company he worked with each summer.
Anyone else have kids finishing up at Clemson this week? Go Tigers!!!

Congrats! My daughter finished her masters in Counselling and also graduates next Friday! Second daughter to attend Clemson and graduate! Time for a little pay raise for dad!

Daughter finished up last Monday, be in Littlejohn next week for graduation. Seems like I moved her in on campus for the 1st time just yesterday. It flew by! She’s already accepted a teaching position in Simpsonville. She did promise me she’d get her masters in the next couple years, hopefully we can get the state to pay a part of it

Seems like forever ago that my daughter graduated in 2017. My son graduated Penn St in 2012.

Hopefully he takes a good long walk around campus when he gets a chance. Just soak it in and enjoy those last moments as an actual student. You can always go back but there's nothing like when you call Clemson your home. I am married and have kids now and a career I enjoy... I wouldn't trade this life for anything in the world, but I look back on my 4.5 years at Clemson with such fondness and I do truly miss it.

We'll be somewhere in Littlejohn at the same time. My daughter is getting her Masters in Education.
For those of you with kids majoring in education, definitely check into the Teacher Residency program.
They have to plan ahead because they apply late sophomore or early junior year, but they knock out the first semester of grad school during spring of their senior year.

Mine is done and puttering around until next Friday.
After this experience I can say: “If you aren’t having fun at Clemson, you are deliberately trying to not have fun at Clemson.”
I believe that. This was a fun but short ride; no grad school for us.
