Not sure how naming works on Campus with multiple things named the same.
Name new buildings based on percentage of certain races of student body at that time

Re: Nuk with a tweet to rename calhoun honors college

To be absolutely fair, before we rename buildings or honors colleges, I would suggest this fact: South Carolina was named after the slave promoting English King Charles--Carolina in Latin--and the port city of Charlestown bore his name. May we first consider changing the name of our state and leading port city? I would suggest we rename Charleston perhaps Daboville and the state can be called ut pueri which is "that boy" or Dabo in Latin. Makes sense to me!

Well at least 15 of SC counties are named after slave holders (151 or GA’s 159 are) as a large number of cities/towns - guess we need to rename all those too. Of course both Washington and Jefferson were slave holder better get the jackhammer - we need to change Mount Rushmore along with states, cities, towns, and counties - oh and let not forget Washington DC. Slavery happened and as bad as it was nothing we do now will change that. I doubt many will agree with some of the views of John C Calhoun but you can’t change history you can only learn from it.
