How does that work ? Does a player like McCloud,who's already redshirted get to also get a MR ?

You have to apply for a medical red shirt, and the NCAA has to grant it, which can happen even if a red shirt year has been taken.

But it's the worthless NCAA, so the decision really depends on which team you're on and how much your team is worth to the NCAA.

There's a tightend for Miami that has if I remember correctly, a redshirt and 3 medical redshirts.
