After reading the linked article, it appears to me that will will have a run-heavy attack against LSU.

I like that because it's a good way to get the O-line some work to gain cohesion and confidence that should carry over through the year. I'm sure Matt Luke is licking his chops and getting our guys conditioned for a fight.

Another good thing about a run-heavy attack is - if successful - that it will cause the LSU secondary to come down in an attempt to stop the run, providing terrific opportunities for Cade and our highly-touted WRs to light up the scoreboard.

If it goes as I imagine, LSU will get behind and start throwing the ball all over the yard, so I hope that the secondary will be ready for them. If we're prepared, there could be some interesting interceptions/runbacks.

Anyway, that's the way I see this game if LSU can't resolve the OL problem the article suggests they have. I just hope the article proves correct because if it is, it has the makings of a blowout that will put "The Look" back on Kelly's face.... <img border=">">">">">

If you read that some scribe says we will be run heavy, that is a clear cut message that we will throw the ball. Throwing will be our strength but will that work against DBU? Stay tuned.

I bet we just run our regular offense and won't be more run heavy than usual. We have unknowns at RB and we are stacked a WR and TE of course. I bet we just run are typical early in the year offense.

The fact that we have unknowns at RB is exactly why we should run the ball against a potentially weak O-line.

We need to find out which of the stable horses is the Alpha...... and this game might give us the chance to find out in Game 1 who it's going to be - which would allow the offense to gel very early in the season..... :)

We are going to run the ball plenty no matter who we are playing. That's our offense.
