But in the grand scheme of things he is a position player, albeit a very talented one. Quality position players are a lot easier to find and sign than quality arms. Potentially keeping Moehler and Bell was huge considering our needs at pitching. Moehler was a potential 1-3 rd prospect before he got hurt this year. He is an absolute stud.

Moehler never got hurt and was never going 1-3 rounds.

Bell got hurt.
